"DESTINY"
This thing we call religion I have yet to figure out,
I’ve begun to question everything, even God’s existance I doubt.
Everyone seems fake as if putting acts,
I want the truth, just give me the facts
The contradictions are everywhere I look,
Trying to make sense, finding nothing in the good book.
I’ve seem to have found happiness on my own,
Needing no one is something I’ve shown.
My life I shall take into my own hands,
Choosing my destiny, making my own plans.

"MATERIAL THINGS”
Material Things can bring us joys,
Cars, Houses, Jewelry and toys.
But self-control we must use each day,
For tomorrow may bring to us dismay.
So may you and yours forever find,
The life for you god first had in mind.
Many people never see,
Money isn't the whole world to thee.
The simple things are what counts,
Bringing joy to endless amounts.

"THE MEANING OF LIFE"
The meaning of life many do not know,
But here in this poem the answer I'll show.
The meaning of life is the early morning sun,
Just after breakfast, before your work is done.
The meaning of life is your first taste of love,
You feel its forever, the clouds your above.
The meaning of life is a trip to the beach,
When humbleness the ocean to you does teach.
The meaning of life is doing nothing at all,
Enjoying the breeze & watching the leaves fall.
The meaning of life has not one answer so true,
But the meaning of life is up to you.
The meaning of life many do not know,
But here in this poem the answer I'll show.
The meaning of life is the early morning sun,
Just after breakfast, before your work is done.
The meaning of life is your first taste of love,

"TO FIND A FRIEND"
When searching for a friend of you,
You must use caution, true friends are few.
For many years you may seek to find,
A person that is real, honest and kind.
But most times you'll find they're fraud or fake,
Dishonest they prove, bad friends they make.
For just when you take comfort in one,
They take what you've said, turn it against you and run.
But don't get discouraged just wait and see,
A true friend you'll find, patience is key.
In time one will come along,
Just at the right moment, to show that you belong.

You must use caution, true friends are few.

"WORKING FREEDOM"
Working for someone else I have found,
Limits my creativity and holds me to the ground.
9-5 Hours and a 30 minute dinner,
Has given me much stress, my wallet made thinner.
I need more the room to venture on my own.
So my ideas and prospects all can be shown.
Unlimited potential I have held within,
This thing we call life I am striving to win.
For being the second best is not an option for me,
One day I'll shine through, for all the world to see.
Working for someone else I have found,
Limits my creativity and holds me to the ground.

"PEOPLE TODAY"
I've looked around the world today,
Watching many people from the young to the grey.
The things I've learned will prove priceless through life,
They'll help me be happy, avoid much pain & strife.
I've seen how people interact,
Trying to fit in, dropping old friends and putting on an act.
Trying to be someone else hoping others don't see,
The real person behind the mask they deny to be.
Selfishness is becoming the leader today,
Each one for his one, helping others has been pushed away.
People complain about every small thing they see,
I say just relax, enjoy life and let me be.
They're opinions they declare they want to be heard,
But for others they say they won't here a word.
It's for people like this I have lost all respect,
Because they're friends and family they've chosen to neglect.
I say these words not in anger nor spite,
I've given them much thought and feel they are right.

"MY LIFE"
My life has not been the easiest you see,
For everything I've had has been taken from me.
All my possessions I've gained on my own,
From no one have I received what they've sewn.
I've had to experience life first hand,
Starting with nothing, my knowledge to expand.
Finding out for myself, just how I should live,
Waking up everyday, with nothing to give.
For everything I have learned in life so far,
Has been on my own, no help to make par.
I'm sure there's people out there that care,
I just haven't found them, It just isn't fair.
Still some day I hope that people will change,
Start seeing the big picture, there attitudes exchange.
But until that day I'll keep living for me,
Making myself better, one day you'll see.
My life has not been the easiest you see,
For everything I've had has been taken from me.
All my possessions I've gained on my own,
From no one have I received what they've sewn.
I've had to experience life first hand,

They just fall off???
Ok so I'm riding home on my bike the other night about midnight clippin along about 15-20 mph or so and pretty uneventful. I start going up a hill and the handlebars literally completely fly off the bike! I go flying over the front of the bike, crushing the headlight and a few of my knuckles, and hit the ground while the bike hits the ditch. Now seeing that about th weeks before I was riding along and the back wheel came compeltely off, I'm beginning to see a need to go through and tighten every bolt. I suppose I never thought about the chance of the handlebars flying off the bike while riding. I mean seriously, has that every actually happened to anyone?? what a night.

Don't Be Chicken...
One thing I know, is that I will never be satisfied until I reach a level of success that I am happy with, and probably not then either. I've learned a lot over the past year... One is that the regular $1k a week paycheck from an employer is much harder to get on your own. With that said, I have enjoyed every minute of the past year, struggles and all. I have learned more than I ever could have at a corporate job. I have also realized that you can't become successful with just a good idea and a good amount of your time. I spend about 60 hours a week actually working on my magazine and freelance, and the rest of it thinking about it. I've also realized that any good idea is extremely fluid, and has to be constantly changed and improved if you want to make it profitable. I have also given up most things to become successful that a lot a people take for granted... A car, nights out at the bar, vacations, cable, the blackberry, shopping, etc. etc. etc., but it will all be worth it in the end, and it's what has to be done to make it. If it wasn't for all the unbelievably hard work and sacrifices that have to be made, day in and day out, year after year, then everyone would be successful. In conclusion, never get down hearted or depressed, at least not for an extended amount of time, about your situation. Keep working hard, trying hard, and enjoying what you've got, and look forward to another day with new possibilities.
Have people never seen a bicycle before???
Ok so I bought a bicycle (yess, peddle power) almost a month ago and have been using it for pretty much all my transportation. First, laugh all you want but I havn't bought gas, paid insurance, or paid a car payment in almost a month. The thing I have yet to understand is every single time I ride I get the strangest reactions from people. Everything from smiling, to waving frantically out the window, to screaming and giving me the finger and honking, to laughing and pointing. Has no one seen anyone riding a bike before? You'd think I was in a horse and buggy in full amish garb or something! Anywho that's all for today... oiy.

Trying to increase web traffic...

Well I've spent at least 25 hours over the past week working on increasing traffic to my site, FindSomethingFun.com. I've manually submitted to at least a hundred search engines, signed up for free listings on at least 50 directories, requested backlinks from everyone that I talk to, set up a ppc adwords account, set up social networking accounts including twitter, facebook & myspace.... oiy did I miss anything. Definitely more work than I had assumed. Hoping to see some results...
